Do you have Google and Apple business listings?
Google Business Profile controls your Google Maps and Search listing; Apple Business Connect is separate and controls Apple Maps, Siri, and Wallet. You'll want both.
No problem — each one takes about 10 minutes. Here's exactly how to set them up:
Google Business Profile
- Go to google.com/business (or download the free Google Business Profile app) and sign in — create a Google account for the business first if you don't have one.
- Tap "Add your business to Google."
- Type your business name exactly how customers know it.
- Pick the category that fits best (you can add more later).
- Say whether customers visit a location or you go to them, and add your address or service area.
- Add your phone number and website.
- Finish and verify — usually a postcard in the mail, or sometimes by phone or email. This can take a few days, so don't worry if it's not instant.
Apple Business Connect
- Go to businessconnect.apple.com (or download the free Apple Business Connect app) and sign in with an Apple ID — create one for the business first if you don't have one.
- Search for your business name — Apple often already has a basic listing pulled from other sources. Claim it if you see it; otherwise choose to add a new place.
- Verify you're the owner — usually a phone call to your business number with a verification code, sometimes instant.
- Fill in your category, hours, photos, and description.
- Publish — your info then shows up in Apple Maps, Siri, and Wallet.

Why add this, and how do I find it? →
This is the single most important thing you can add — it locks your checks onto your exact Google listing instead of guessing by name, so your ranking, reviews, and reports come back accurate from day one.
- Open the Google Business Profile app (or go to business.google.com on a computer) and sign in with the account that manages this listing.
- Tap "Customers" at the bottom, then tap "Reviews."
- Tap "Ask for reviews" (sometimes labeled "Get more reviews") — this copies a special review link to your clipboard.
- Paste that link above.
Important: use "Ask for reviews," not the general "Share" button on your profile — they look similar but give different links, and only the review one works here.
